Cover Cropping for the Home Garden – Api-3418 — 2 Comments

  1. I planted daikon radish from the local farm supply store (Mfa) called soil buster. I put it in august 8th. Plants got really great looking, first frost on October 30th they were dead. Not cold hardy at all and they had plenty of time to establish. Are there different kinds of daikon radish that may be more cold tolerant?

    • I think your response in episode 3420 is spot on correct. Even though it was the first frost, it was dang cold that day so I didn’t think much about it, and it was also the only crop planted. Thanks for your input
