Cover cropping has become a huge thing in ReGen Ag and for a lot of great reasons. Gardeners though still tend toward not using them. While there are other strategies that can be employed when not actively growing crops, none are as effective as a good cover crop. Today we discuss how to use this simple, inexpensive and very effective technology in your back yard.

I planted daikon radish from the local farm supply store (Mfa) called soil buster. I put it in august 8th. Plants got really great looking, first frost on October 30th they were dead. Not cold hardy at all and they had plenty of time to establish. Are there different kinds of daikon radish that may be more cold tolerant?

I think your response in episode 3420 is spot on correct. Even though it was the first frost, it was dang cold that day so I didn’t think much about it, and it was also the only crop planted. Thanks for your input
