  1. Our family also uses time limits for electronics used for entertainment, and taking away time as punishment for not doing chores and the like works to some degree. I like the extra time reward idea, and I think I’ll try introducing that for when our son completes his chores without us having to remind him.

I’m not very keen on letting our oldest have a smartphone yet though… I want to limit his time with small screens, and want him to have limited access to electronics when he’s out of the house. I kind of want them to have a similar situation that I had when growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s… access to technology, but not on a 24/7 basis. He’ll probably bitch to no end, but I think for at least for the next couple years if he has any phone it’ll be a basic dumb model with no data plan  😉

  2. Wish the realtor for that property would call me back…Looks like that TN property was initially listed at $245k…so I’m hoping that it was part of a larger piece that this is the remainder of.  Otherwise it might be a typo.

  3. I  am not disagreeing with the common sense approach regarding probiotics while nursing.  Sounds right.  From my personal experience there seem to be many myths about things you shouldn’t eat while nursing. Myself, as long as certain foods did not bother me, I continued to eat them.   Everyone is different. The international lactation consultant certification does involve much schooling/training.  I have a daughter-in-law who is working on hers (then midwife school, then med school).  Although she has a double major in biology and chemistry, she has several other classes she is taking at our local college along with the lactation classes. Then she has an internship and has to pass a test.   One of her reasons for getting this board certification was to help her chances of getting into med school.
