Today it’s time for the expert council show. To ask a question for a show like this, just send an email to me at jack at thesurvivalpodcast.com with “TSPC Expert” in the subject line.
Today on The Survival Podcast, the expert council answers questions on motivation, UTVs, permaculture education, supplements, generators, oil prices, ETFs, aquaculture and more.
In the body of your email first tell me the council member your question is for. Second ask your question concisely in one to two sentences maximum. Third any and all details after that. This is the formula to give you the best chance of getting on the air.
I do what I can to get as many of your questions as possible on the air but can’t always get to all of them. Our council is made of a wide variety of experts in everything from the tactical to the practical and everything in between.
To get more information on our Expert Council visit our “Meet the Expert Council Page” to learn more about them and their specific areas of expertise.

I’ve been involved in the off-road world basically my entire life. I’m in the process of rebuilding the LT80 I started riding in 1987. I‘ve been in at least a couple dozen atvs, dirt bikes and SxSs since then. I agree with the assessment of Polaris. We used a couple of them on our farm during the late 80s and through the 90s, and they while didn’t give us any major problems, my experience with the newer models is not so good. These days, Polaris and can-am are leaders in ATV and sxs innovation, but for the money – can am is the higher quality option. Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki are also solid choices; kawasaki being my preference. Kawi’s offer a great balance of power and reliability that, for the money, I don’t think you get from any other brand. I’m on my second brute force 750 now. It’s a 2017 with power steering. Great workhorse around the farm and a blast to rip down the trails. Check out my YouTube channel if you’d like. I haven’t posted in awhile, but I have a lot of riding videos. It’s Elk River Off-Road.
