Two days ago the state of Ohio updated the forecast for peak infections from 10,000 to 2,000. Sounds good and suggests that we did flatten the curve. Except for the fact that would delay the peak timing which was desired for testing, developing treatments, getting PPE, etc. That’s not what happened.. The new projection for Ohio’s peak was actually moved up by about a week.

I think this aligns with your theory that this virus has been here a lot longer. There is also the belief that the R0 is 5.7 instead of 2.4 (more contagious) but again as you eluded to means we have had the denominator for hospitalizations and deaths wrong.

Darby Simpson’s observation is significant for those who market produce at farmer’s markets. If the food supply chain doesn’t improve significantly by June there will be significant demand at local markets.

Has anyone figured out how to get PPP for an independent contractor running a LLC?

As of April 16th all of the money for PPP is gone.  We will have to wait and see if more money is made available.
