Today we had a great discussion with Matthew Facas of Ares Tactical on concealed carry and how the carry space has changed over the last two decades in America.  We talk about carry options, when to actually use a weapon vs. not.  We also discuss training, gear and a ton more.

Matthew is a custom holster maker with over a decade of experience. He draws on a vast range of work experiences to design holsters and help people choose the right solution. After getting out of the Marine Corps he spent a decade in the sporting retail market before transitioning into the firearms industry wstarting at the NRA headquarters range in Fairfax, Virginia. This is when he was introduced into the competitive shooting of IDPA and USPSA.

Matthew spent several years as a registered Personal Protection Specialist and as private security contractor in Afghanistan before finally starting a custom holster business. He is now coming up on almost three decades of concealed carry and has seen many changes over that time.
