Before my current deployment my agency had no video or audio at all for patrol officers. I think that when this deployment is over they have a body cam waiting for me. It’s not a “dealbreaker” but it will still have an effect on whether I stay with that department or not… I’ll keep you updated. (Fyi I’m down here in gtmo with TacticalRedneck. We met up thanks to zello)
One additional note on 1944 December during the battle of the bulge. The US commander was sent a letter demanding surrender of the surrounded US forces in Bastogne.
The American Commander Gen. Anthony McAuliffe replied with one word……
NUTS!
There is another story similar to that one were a US Commander was told, “the enemy is on all sides of us sir”. His response was, “good then we have them right were we want them surrounded”.
Some people might see such things as foolish but a commander has to instill confidence in his men. If you don’t believe you will live you will find a way to die.
I would like to add to the pipefitter profession. A lot of the pipefitter work involves HVAC. The new HVAC systems use a lot of automation and conductivity. There is a lot of knowledge of controls and computers. It’s not just welding steel pipe to boiler.
Thanks for that info.
Your ‘free beer’ comment made me think of this song by Da Yoopers.

A class C Is not chopped off. It is a RV built on a van chassis and is completely drivable for passengers in the back. The drivers cabin is accessible from the interior of the RV

Heck even in the communist liberal state of New York it’s legal
I apologize for not commenting sooner. I appreciate you talking my call on the mostly pine chips. I’ve got a guy to start spreading them out next week. If I can I’ll post a pic. I was really hoping for 5-6 loads to use a a base for a raised garden. There must be 150 yards of chips now and they just keep bringing them 🙂 I’m gonna start spreading them out over about 2 acres of poor soil over clay. Talked to the crew today to let them know they can keep dumping chips. They aren’t working nearby anymore but they can start work with the 6 man crew before the local recycle facility opens and they can work after it closes and only 2 men are needed to dump chips. Win, Win, Win.
Maybe if you end up with more than you can use throw an ad on craigslist for natural mulch for sale?
