CAC Activation Alert for Hurricane Ida – How You Can Help
Citizens Assisting Citizens has sent out an Activation (Be Ready!) Alert for Hurricane Ida to all volunteers, donors, supporters. CAC does not yet know where, how or when resources will be allocated, but we are now actively planning, accepting donations and seeking volunteers.
- Volunteer: https://www.cacteam.com/volunteer/
- Donations*: https://www.cacteam.com/donations/
*All NEW donations coming in now are added to the $7300 of already allocated funds.
Anyone with any questions can call Joshua Sloan at (484) 241-5490 additional updates will be posted on their Facebook page.
P.S. – For those new to CAC they are a 501C3 charity that I created the vision for in response to Super Storm Sandy. While I am not involved in the internal decisions or operations of the organization I helped to found, I still support them in any way I am asked to, including financially. If you want to contribute to an organization that will put your money to work to help actual people instead of fueling the CEOs jet, your money will be well treated with CAC. ~ Jack Spirko, Co Founder of CAC Teams.
Thank you Jack! Whether we have a little or a lot, we’ll always do the best with what we got…our hearts go out to those affected by Ida, and we hope to ultimately provide upwards of $10,000 in supplies. Stay strong. Stay prepared.
