Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 1:45:41 — 30.2MB)
Over the past decade, trust in institutions like the media, Big Pharma, and the government has gone up in flames—and that’s a good thing. In this episode, we dive into why losing faith in corrupt systems is freeing us to seek truth and build something better.
Join Me Today to Discuss…
- We’ve been taught that we should want to trust government and institution but is it true, has it ever worked out that way, ever?
- What is the natural result of realizing you can’t trust centralized sources of information
- Areas where the media, government and large corporations have lost all faith from thinking people
- Pharmaceuticals – These companies profit off your illness, not making you well
- The MSM News – Have openly lied so many times in the past 5 years only an idiot would trust them
- The Federal and State Governments – Have prosecuted the innocent, failed to prosecute the guilty, allowed riots to occur, left our borders wide open, started wars, destabilized and over thrown governments, and I could go on.
- Science – Got literally everything wrong about CoVid, said an ice free arctic was coming in 5-10 years for 40 years, recommended diets that have caused multiple epidemics (obesity, type 2 diabetes, low testosterone, etc)
- Doctors and Big Medicine – Have completely gone along with science and pharma, ignores their customers feed back, denies results you can see with your own eyes, etc.
- The Military – Adopted DEI, made the primary demographic that fights wars for them the enemy, ruined careers just before retirement, etc.
- Courts and Judges – Constantly enforce unconstitutional laws, ignores their own rules, allowed partisanship to effect decisions, more concerned with public opinion than the law
- Why this is all a good thing if we capitalize on it
- They were always corrupt, but now more people than ever know it
- There has never been a time where the average person had a bigger voice
- The real information is available to anyone who will look for it
- Not only do we get results we can show those results, lived experience and results are proof
- These organizations can’t be reformed they must be destroyed or rendered important
- How we make the most of it
- Ignore autistic libertarians who can’t accept winning anything at all
- In spite of that we should understand they are right about not expecting a “better system”
- Removing government power is good but educating people is far more powerful, everyone responds to incentives even government, NGOs, the Media, etc.
- Don’t tell people “see I was right” rather ask them, if they lied about ________ what do you think they haven’t lied about and why
- We need a cure for Gel-Mann Amnesia
- Final Thoughts – Use caution attributing to malice what can be explained by incompetence and realize nothing is more corrupt and incompetent than the state and its agents.

Podsnacks Notes for this Episode
- Declining Trust in Institutions: Over the past decade, trust in major institutions like the media, pharmaceutical companies, government, and the military has declined significantly, and this is a positive development. People are realizing that these institutions have often been corrupt, incompetent, or misguided, and are no longer blindly accepting what they say.
` - Inability to Reform Corrupt Systems: The host believes these institutions cannot be reformed from within and must be destroyed or rendered impotent. Attempts to “fix” them will ultimately fail, as the incentive structures and bureaucratic inertia make meaningful change impossible.
` - Leveraging Distrust to Empower Individuals: The host encourages listeners to use this distrust to take more control over their own lives, seeking independent information, building self-reliance, and creating their own communities and support systems. He warns against relying on the false hope of reforming the system.
` - Avoiding Myopic Libertarian Extremism: The host cautions against the pitfalls of some libertarian thinkers who become so narrowly focused on opposing the system that they cannot accept any incremental progress or victories. He urges finding a balance between recognizing the system’s flaws and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.
` - Curing “Gell-Mann Amnesia”: The host emphasizes the need to educate people to overcome “Gell-Mann Amnesia,” the tendency to distrust information on topics they are familiar with but accept information on unfamiliar topics without scrutiny. He advocates using a gentle, Socratic approach to help people realize the extent of institutional deception.
- Demonstrating Positive Alternatives: The host encourages listeners to actively showcase the positive results they have achieved through alternative approaches, such as dietary and health changes, as a means of persuading others and undermining the credibility of corrupt institutions.
` - Final Thoughts: Overall, the podcast argues that the collapse of trust in major institutions, while unsettling, presents an opportunity to empower individuals, build resilient communities, and create positive change outside of the corrupt systems.
