I still have 30 minutes to go, which I’ll do on the commute home, but let me just say this is a great episode. Not only are there lot of great take-aways, but the energy of having three people makes it fun to listen to and keeps you really engaged. My morning commute flew by. Great interview.
Not sure the best way to get in contact with Doc/Amy, but I think they usually watch here for at least a few days after a show.
Anyways, would they happened to know when the Kindle version of The Survival Medicine Handbook is going to be available again? I did have it but my wife and I combined our Kindle accounts and when I went to redownload it, it says it’s under review and no longer available.
That was three months ago, and as of now, it’s still not available. It says it’s under review for quality issues, but having read through my previous copy several times, none stood out.
Anyways, just wondering if they had any idea when it would be available again?
Glad Nurse Amy is getting more involved. She is one of those people that just seem to sound in a good mood every time she is on.
Derek,
It’s strange that we’ve had so much trouble with this. They sent us a message that, because of several typos, they were removing the kindle version. Examples of the errors were spelling “medical” as “medicial”, and “week” as “weak”. We’ve resubmitted the entire manuscript but have not, as yet, heard back. More on this as we know more. Thanks, Joe Alton md
I have the Kindle version but it appears to be the 2nd edition. Whenever the 3rd edition is available I’m hoping we’ll be able to upgrade.
Thanks for all you do.
