Yesterday I did a fantastic interview with Rand Gifford (Episode-3234 – The State of the Cannabis Industry).  We had a ton of great feedback on this episode already.  Rand’s Company Akira Botanicals has a large array of options derived from the cannabis plant.  All are Federally Legal do to the US Farm Bill.

What I like is while there are some items that could be used “recreationally” it is mostly geared to medicinal use, lifestyle enhancement and pain relief.  I also love that with the exception of a very few items like Delta8 Edibles all of the products on Rand’s website are the result of cannabis grown right on their own farm.

I met Rand this fall at the TSP Fall Workshop and he was an awesome guy to hang out with.  Right before he left he handed me a box of his various products, there was attention to quality evident from the packaging alone.  I used a variety of his products to determine if the quality went deeper and it most certainly did.  So I was happy to have him on air and even happier to add him to the MSB.

P.S. – Gasp!  Yes Jack Spirko uses cannabis!  I really have never been a true stoner, I don’t use it with high frequency and I tend more to using it for sleep, dream enhancement and opening up creativity when working on new projects.

But I won’t apologize for it and the war on this plant as gone on long enough. It is a plant folks, fricken chill out.

I got a few outraged emails yesterday saying “I DiDnT kNoW yOU weRE a DoPeHeAD” and other such things.  It made me laugh with no bud required.  This is nothing new and has always been public.  I invite you to check out some of the other shows we have done on the topic.  And if you don’t want to use cannabis by all means don’t but if you get uptight that others occasionally do so, may be you should. ;>)
