I have dripped bits and bobs about a practice I began and then further developed in my life beginning in November last year. I had not wanted to really go deep into it on air until I first had a chance to present it in a more public live audience situation. That all just happened as when Nicole Sauce asked me to present at LFTN-26 it is the topic she asked me to talk about.
Well, I have just returned so today what you will get is a slightly longer version of the presentation I just gave in Tennessee. Some of the exercises we talk about today were briefly demonstrated by two members of the audience and if you want to see that entire presentation you can on Nicole’s YouTube here – The 5 O’Clock Club – Unstoppable Progress with Jack Spirko.
In any event I am going to lay out why I began waking up at 5 AM every day about 5 months ago and giving the first hour to myself. In those 5 months I have only missed mornings doing so during my vacation with my wife to Vegas, which ended up being about 9 days total due to the January ice storm closing down airports. Other than that there were only 3-4 days I didn’t do it due to schedule conflicts and one needed rest after a family party for the holidays. Then one more time, which was this morning. Ironically the strongest case for this practice has been what it is like when you don’t do it.
Oh and if this all sounds like something you just won’t do, tune in anyway. You don’t have to get up at 5AM to use the 5AM Architecture I developed. The system is flexible and even bolting an extra 15 minutes onto your day can make and explosive difference in your productivity. I also want to say out of the gate that this system was developed by merging a combination of two best selling books and adapting their systems to my own life.
These books are…
My journey began when an audience member named Jake told me about The 5AM Club at the fall workshop and after noticing how different he was I gave it a shot. While the method worked great the book was not my cup of tea. However when the audio version of it ended for me Audible suggested Elrod’s book as my next listen. I gave it a shot and found the delivery and the flexibility more useful.
Join me today as we discuss this concept and the difference it has made in my life and how infinitely adaptable it really is. I have but one question for you today. Do you value yourself enough to become a better you?
