Jack,
This was perfect timing for me! However, I’ve got a huge question I haven’t been able to find the answer to, and it involves building a “permanent” indoors aquaponics system. This is very specific to my circumstances as I live in a zone 5 climate, and I happen to have a 12’x12′ room in my basement that I haven’t been able to find a good use for. For the purposes of this thread, should I submit my question to the expert council, or a listener call?
Thanks for everything.
Will

I guess it would help to know the nature of the question, actually the exact question is what long term maintenance to plan for? I’m building my material list to custom build my beds, but say annually or every several years, what type of maintenance should I plan for in my build?

One maintenance issue to plan for is massive moisture your home wasn’t designed to tolerate.

I’ve thought about that one, and I’ve already got gauges in my basement to monitor, and a dehumidifier on standby. With no intervention and no aqua system at all, I average nearly 50% humidity, so my thoughts are, try to maintain the average.
What day you? And I’m genuinely asking.
