Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally, Episode-732- Leadership and Its Role for American Survival and was originally published on August 25th, 2011. The following are the original show notes from that episode. No not the leadership of our vaulted elected officials, our military commanders or even your boss at work. No today I am talking about personal, family and general community level leadership. CAC Teams Now In Port Author – We Need Your Help with Places for Our Responders to Sleep

The Survival Podcast Posted on August 30, 2017 by Modern SurvivalAugust 30, 2017

Okay we are now seeing CAC do what we built it for, find the people not getting enough help and helping them.  Houston is being over loaded with help, don’t get me wrong they need it desperately but what is on TV?  Houston, Houston, Houston.  But this is what we just heard…. Right now Port Author is getting pounded, rescues are being made and rescuers are dropping people off on dry land but with no idea where to put them or where to send them. This is the report that just came in from a responder we have in the … Continue reading →

CAC Team Status Report as of 8-30-17

The Survival Podcast Posted on August 30, 2017 by Modern SurvivalAugust 30, 2017

This is just a smattering of what is and has been going on.  Right now we have at least 7 people active on the ground in South Texas.  We have people currently north of Houston and all the way over to the west in the Aransas Pass area just east of Corpus Christi. We have been directly helping people on the side of the road, supplying clothing, food, water, hygiene products, etc. to shelters and our people are now hooking up with work crews to provide labor to clean up debris and more. Right now we have one group that … Continue reading →

Regency Soup Sock – Item of the Day

The Survival Podcast Posted on August 30, 2017 by Modern SurvivalAugust 16, 2018

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Regency Soup Sock.  When I showed this to my son, his exact words were, “that thing is genius”.  Now my son didn’t quite learn everything I know about the kitchen but he seems to have paid attention to stuff that lets you stretch a dollar!  He is now 27 with two kids of his own, so that makes sense.  So one … Continue reading →

Today on The Survival Podcast I take your questions on criminal justice, hurricane Harvey, bitcoin, libertarianism, training dogs, economics and more. Remember to be on a show like this one just pick up your phone and call 866-65-THINK. Make sure if you submit content for a feedback show that you put something like “comment for jack”, “question for jack” or “article for jack” in the subject line to assure proper identification for my screening process. Please understand I receive several hundred emails a day and can’t get them all on the air. I also do put out a lot of … Continue reading →

Episode-2074- The CAC Team is Responding to Harvey

Steven Harris will join me for the first part of today’s show.  Today’s show is commercial free to speak directly about the currently unfolding disaster in Texas and what you can do to help us respond to it. Many don’t realize that this storm in many was is worse than Katrina.  Only a far better response to it is preventing it from looking that way.  Sadly though thanks to Houston’s mayor, high risk residents were not only not told to evacuate, they were specifically told to stay in their homes. Many people of course seem to think that the worst … Continue reading →

CAC Teams – A Call Out to Help Hurricane Refugees in Texas

The Survival Podcast Posted on August 26, 2017 by Modern SurvivalAugust 26, 2017

Guys in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy back in 2012 as I watched the Red Cross unable to find their ass with both hands I conceived of a rapid response agile non profit to help when something like this happened again. This vision became CAC Teams (Citizen’s Assisting Citizens).  Realizing I didn’t have the time or the knowledge to run such an organization I assembled a team of folks to do so.  This team acquired non profit status, and built the organization I envisioned.  Today that group is run by our own Steven Harris. Hurricane Harvey and its damage is … Continue reading →

Get Out, Get Out, Get Out – Hurricane Harvey is Going to be Catastrophic

The Survival Podcast Posted on August 25, 2017 by Modern SurvivalAugust 25, 2017

I have said “get out, get out, get out” two other times at TSP.  The first was in reference to the stock market in 2008, the second was in reference to hurricane Ike also in 2008, both times I was sadly right.  So it has been 9 years since I last said, “get out, get out, get out”, please listen to me if you live in major impact areas for this storm. The media talking heads are in love with their coverage of this storm, gives them something to be over the top about with little need of hype.  They … Continue reading →
