Today I am “calling and audible” and dedicating this show to Bill Mollison.  He is to date the greatest mentor I have that I have also never met.   Many are understandably sad at Bill’s passing, but I am less so.  In 2013 I spoke at length to his grandson and even that long ago the family knew Bill would not be here much longer. His family had come to as peace with it as anyone contemplating the loss of a loved one can.  Bill is the reason I even know what Permaculture is, as its’ creator that is true of … Continue reading →

Make sure if you submit content for a feedback show that you put something like “comment for jack”, “question for jack” or “article for jack” in the subject line to assure proper identification for my screening process. The Survival Podcast Posted on September 22, 2016 by Modern SurvivalAugust 16, 2018

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Greystone 11.5″ Non-Stick Griddle , after a few months of using my Greystone 13 inch frying pan I am hooked on this cookware.  Nothing sticks to it, you can cook hot as blazes if you want to, it wears like iron and you can use metal utensils. Finding Greystone was a tag team affair. In Episode 1828 Chef Keith answered a … Continue reading →
