  1. Finding opportunities to serve others locally is really not hard at all

    There are secular and faith based groups all over the country that are begging for volunteers

    Getting out of the house and actually doing it is whats hard

    A little harder sometimes to find things that parents and kids can do together, but teenagers are usually welcome to join a parent.

    From a personal benefit standpoint, I’d expect an 18 year old fresh out of HS, or a 22 year old fresh out of college looking for a job that puts on his resume “volunteer xyz organization 2019-present” has a leg up on someone whose only experience is school
