Episode-2535- 20 Unique Garden Plants to Consider Growing

Long ago, we are talking 2008 here I started this podcast. I wanted to talk about all things modern survival related. To me nothing is more rooted in our survival than the ability to feed ourselves so I started talking about gardening. Still with tons of guns and gear types showing up in the early days I wondered if garden type shows would be well received. Not only were they but they became some of the most popular episodes I have ever done.
Within that group shows dedicated to a group of plants you can or should grow, especially lesser known varieties were the most popular of all. Today we are going to follow that old school TSP Formula and talk about 12 plants you may want to consider growing.
Not all of these will be plants you never heard of, some won’t even be considered unusual but all have unique things about them that are either worthy of your consideration or perhaps reconsideration.

Swiss Chard! Amazing plant.
I grew ONE plant in my greenhouse in KY and harvested from it at least 1 to 2 times a month for over 24 months. I love it thinly sliced and added last minute to Frekah or Farro. Let the heat from the Farro cok the garlic and chard… Tasty!!
