Here is how it is going to go.  On Friday at 9AM central standard time I will add a special link to the home page of the Member’s Area of the MSB.  You can log in and click on that link to reserve your spot.  When I do that I will post here that registration is open.   Spots will be reserved for MSB members only for the first 24 hours.

On Saturday at 9AM if and it is a big IF, any seats remain I will open it to any and all to sign up.  So if you are an MSB member you may want to log in now and make sure your account is in current standing, that you have the right password etc. before Friday morning if you want to come.

Dates – The class dates are Oct. 27-29 but most students choose to set up camp on the 26th.  You can arrive on property any time after 2PM on the 26th.  Most students, especially those who camp on site, will stay over until the 30th.  We request everyone off property by 11:30 AM on the 30th.

Location – for those who have not been here before our property is located near Lakeside Texas, which is just north of Fort Worth.  If you are flying in, DFW Airport is the best bet to fly into.  It is about a 30 minute drive from our house, if you take the toll express lane, trust me, pay the five bucks or it is an hour of hell instead!  You don’t even need to pay the toll, just take the express lane and they will send you a bill in the mail if you don’t have a toll tag.  Big brother at his finest.

Cost and Payment – Cost is 500 dollars per student.  We take a 100 dollar deposit to hold your spot with balance due when you show up.  You need to pay your deposit with paypal but you don’t need a paypal account.  You can use a major credit/debit card to make your deposit payment.

Couples and Families – Due to the extreme limited spots in this event couples will have to pay for both parties and will have to complete two separate forms to do that.  Kids under 18 are free if accompanied by an adult, limit two per family.  Conditions for your kids include the following.

First you are 100% responsible for your kids, they are expected to be part of the event, not running around messing with our animals or breaking things.   Please do not drag your kid to this event, bring only older children that considers attendance an opportunity.

Second, this is an adult event, there will be drinking, “adult words spoken” etc, if you are not okay with this, do not bring children to this event. People will be up late, making noise, you get the picture.

Third I get final approval, if you reserve a spot and intend to bring a minor, email me with details to make sure it is going to be okay.  I am going to want to know age, maturity level, etc.  I don’t mean to be a hard ass about this but we have a LOT going on in taking care of everyone.  My rule used to be no kids but the few we have allowed in have been really great, so I am doing this on a case by case basis.  If I end up saying no and that is a deal breaker for you I will happily refund your deposit.

Refunds on Deposits – I have what I think is a very fair deal on this.  If you decide in 48 hours of locking in your spot you want to cancel, I refund you no questions asked.  After that if a true emergency occurs like a death or illness in the family, something involving work you can’t get out of, I refund 100% of your deposit.  Otherwise this is my rule, if I can sell the spot, you get a refund, if I can’t you don’t.  This is because sometimes people cancel a day or two before the event, when that happens it is hard to sell the spot which would have otherwise sold and been filled.

Since we are doing only one this fall we are going with a seat count of 40 students, which is a bit of a push for our property but we want to be as inclusive as we can be.
