A New Way to Get TSP Updates
This was one of those “duh” moments for me. Like why didn’t you do this long ago. As many of you know recently I discovered Telegram and we created two groups, one for Unloose the Goose and one for TSP. With a group on Telegram it is like a giant group chat.
Anyone can post it it, anyone can share files, etc. This is great for those who want it but some just don’t want to get hundreds of texts a day about things they are not interested in. Enter Telegram Channels. A Channel is different, you subscribe and you get messages ONLY from the channel owner, in this case me.
So what will I send? Well 90% of the time I am going to send one short text every time I publish something on this blog. A new Episode, a new TSPAZ item, a new article or a new video for instance. This means some days you will get a lot of udates, some days only 2-3 and most weekends nothing unless something significant happens.
Another way to look at it, if I would put it in the Daily Mail it goes on the TG channel, if I would not, it doesn’t. So like all the quirky stuff and news stuff I put on Parler or MeWe won’t go in it. It won’t be for chatty stuff, just TSPC Updates.
BONUS – When you are on the TG channel you get REAL TIME updates vs. waiting say for the daily mail to process via Aweber so when something is gonna sell out you know first. The first big example is the coming TSPC 2020 Workshop. It goes on sale Saturday at 10 AM CST but I am going to release the link on the Telegram Channel 10 minutes before it goes public.
In the end it is just another way to get updates from me at TSPC. It is more reliable than Social Media and more real time than Email. If you decide you don’t like it you just un sub from the channel. If you don’t like the alerts you can just turn them off and check at your convenience. With telegram you can turn off alerts by channel, group or contact. So it is really cool and self managing.
So how the heck do you get it. First if you don’t have telegram install it. They have it for PC, Mac, iPhone or Android, you can find it all here.
If you already have Telegram installed or once you do you can find the TSPC Telegram Channel Here. Remember a channel is one way, I just can send you updates. If you want to get on the Chat Group you can find it here. Remember with that one it is quite literally hundreds of other TSP Members communicating. And remember if a channel, group or contact gets to busy for your liking but you don’t want to leave you can just turn off notifications for a time or permanently and check it when you feel like it.
On a final note let me say if you run any sort of online business or off line for that matter Telegam Channels seem like a great idea. It is more powerful than text messaging and the customer can easily opt out or take a break. It seems like an amazing tool for any business and the price is free which is hard to beat.
Could you post the Unloose the Goose telegram link?
