Outdoor Edge RB-20 Razor Blaze Knife – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Outdoor Edge RB-20 Razor Blaze Knife.  Man this thing is slick!  I picked on up right before my recent hunt and  I’m glad I did.  I was hunting with about 14 other people at a ranch in the Texas Hill Country and was surprised to see about half the people there with one version of other of this knife.

The premise is simple your blade is always razor sharp because when it gets dull, you toss it out and replace it with a new one, new blades cost about $1.60 each.  The blades are made with an inexpensive steel called 420 J2, which has poor edge retention but sharpens very easily and is extremely resistant to coronation and rust.   This steel until these knives came out had two primary uses.

  1.  It is used by many high end knife makers as liners, springs, etc in their folding knives, due to high corrosion resistance.
  2. It is used by many makers of surgical scalpels.  Generally scalpels must be incredibly sharp and are used one time in surgery and deposed of.  Inexpensive steel that stands up to harsh chemicals for sterilizing and gets incredibly sharp easily is perfect for this application.

Given the above I think 420 J2 is perfect for what Outdoor Edge is doing with this knife.  Let me tell you what everyone with one at this hunt had it primarily for, one thing, skinning.  I am big on not letting a knife get dull in the first place, using a good sharpening steel you can keep an edge for a very long time, if you are patient and keep touching it up.

However in the real world hunting makes a man tired, stuff slips and next thing you know it is 9PM, you haven’t had dinner yet, you have a half skinned deer or hog and dull ass knife.  In a word this SUCKS!  If someone said, here is a razor sharp blade for a buck 60 you can have right now, you’d hand him a 5 and tell him to keep the change!

While I didn’t charge the guy this did happen at this last hunt.  I met a really cool guy who had brought his God Son on a hunt with him.  The boy shot a beautiful Aoudad, really beautiful.  The man was really taking his time skinning this animal because it was going to be mounted.  I could tell that it was really important to him to do a good job.  I could also tell his knife was getting dull but noticed a Outdoor Edge Knife sitting on the ledge next to him.

When I asked him about it he said they were great but he forgot to get extra blades.  I asked if he wanted a blade for it and thought he was gonna stop and hug me he was so happy.  He finished up and we talked while he did.  Turns out this guy is the type that hunts all over the world, hunting is pretty much all he does.  He is retired very young, mid thirties.  He invented a stem cell technology that he sold to Cancer Treatment Centers of America and well, he is set for life.

He had just come back from Tajikistan from a sheep hunt that is considered one of the most challenging hunts in the world.  He has hunted in New Zealand, Australia, Russia, etc.  And yea for skinning he carries a 35 dollar knife with a disposable blade!  Why?  It works and it always works.

Just unlike him pick up a pack or two of extra blades!  They are only 9.99 with free shipping on prime.

Let me be clear, you can absolutely use this knife for anything you’d use any similar knife for.  It simply though screams out, use me for skinning, and that is why I have one.  Skinning is hard on an edge and you simply need a razor sharp knife to do it right.  With this you always have one.  Again I know how to sharpen knives and do a good job of it, but at 9:30 PM on a hunt, I want to be kicking back at the fire with a beer and belly full of deer heart off the gill, not sharpening a knife and looking at a half skinned animal.

So check out the Outdoor Edge RB-20 Razor Blaze Knife all the other hunters in camp that had them, loved them, and I think you will too.  I find the knife a great deal with 6 blades included for only $34.95.

Remember you can always find the TSP Amazon Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop online you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. – The other knife I considered for this use was a Havalon Piranta but I felt the blade shape just wasn’t enough like a “regular knife”.  The blades cost less for sure in fact about half the price but again they are not optimal in my personal view.

One gentleman in our camp had both the Outdoor Edge and the Havalon Piranta and said he preferred the Outdoor Edge for a few reasons.  One is the over all feel when cutting, related to the blade shape.  The other is that the blade is much easier to change in Outdoor Edge and you are likely to cut yourself changing the blade in the Piranta.

The thing he liked better about the Piranta is it is easier to clean.  I can seen in the design why this is so.  However when I got home, I just removed the blade from my knife, tossed the frame into the silverware thing on the dishwasher and it came out clean as new!  I personally prefer the Outdoor Edge but wanted to bring the Piranta to your attention because the long term cost is lower.  However how many big game animals do you skin in a year?

Etekcity 4 Pack of LED Lanterns – Item of the Day

eteklanternsEvery day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is Etekcity’s 4 Pack of LED Lanterns.  These things are an incredible value and are the result of a lot of research.   I have previously reviewed The Streamlight Siege Lantern.  And I still think it is the highest quality LED lantern on the market.

It is also 26-114 dollars based on the options you pick.  Even at the lowest priced option if you wanted one for every room of a 8 room house, you are looking at 200 bucks.  Frankly for this type of thing, it is over kill.  I wanted an affordable solution for every room lighting during an extended blackout.

I started looking around and dozens of companies are marketing these little pop up lanterns with minor differences.  The housings are almost identical.  Some are very inexpensive and some cost almost as much as The Siege, none are as good though.

Well I love Etekcity which has a lot of really cool stuff much of which I have reviewed in the past like their Thermal Gun, Power Failure Lights and Remote Control Electrical Outlets.  So I checked and they have this four pack for only $22.99 with free shipping.  This pack is an Amazon best seller with over a 4000 reviews and an average of 5 stars.

But I always check the one star reviews before picking an item.  Many times you can tell said reviews are written by idiots.  In this case, however; they bothered me.  Almost all of them say they got one that didn’t work out of the box and then never worked again.  So I began checking other options, heck it is almost like ever single brand of these things are clones.   They all have great reviews, a few bad reviews and all the different ones have almost the exact same complaint, dead on arrival or after one use.

So I contacted Etekcity who has great service and said basically that it is understandable at this price point and selling so many a few will have problems, but what is your return/replacement policy and this is what I got back in return, within an hour by the way!

Hello Jack,

Thank you for reaching out to us and thank you for all the feedback we appreciate it. Honestly we sell hundreds if not a thousand of these lanterns a day and we do have problems with them, they are not perfect.

Typically the main issue is a little toggle switch in the base that likely during shipping breaks unfortunately and once in awhile the top of the lantern is cracked or loose again probably due to shipping.

Once the lantern makes it to the customer and they arrive in good order we never hear from the customer because they seem to not fail with normal use.

We usually only hear from the customers the moment they open the package and find the damage and then we immediately send out a replacement and then all lanterns come with a 1 year warranty.

These are not the worlds greatest lantern but for around $6 each, they are one of amazons best sellers and we think for the price they are the best around.

thank you

Okay so every single one of those one star reviews are people that simply could  have gotten a free replacement, on a $5.50 product?  Honestly this is why I have recommended so many things from Etekcity.

Talk about honesty in a nut shell they said, “hey look when you sell this many products of this type some will have problems, but we stand by and replace them”, what more could you ask for for under 6 bucks?

With that I was sold, I got two sets, we have them in our black out kits and if one fails, I don’t care I have 8!  That said all of mine have worked just fine and were in perfect shape when they got here.  But this was important to me, I wanted to be sure that if you did have a problem, Etekcity would fix it and I wanted to give you a lot cost option for back up lighting.  And hey even at this stupid cheap price, batteries are included!  Please consider that even cheap ass Rayovac Batteries are about 8 bucks for a 12-Pack.

And these do that, they will give you 12 full hours of light off three measly AA batteries.  So to me at the cost and for what they do this is the best deal in back up LED lighting for your house and your BOK (Black Out Kit).    So I really recommend you pick up at least one Etekcity’s 4 Pack of LED Lanterns if you don’t have that base covered already.  They seem like a cool gift idea as well.

Remember you can always find the TSP Amazon Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop on Amazon you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. – I have noticed a few negative reviews complaining of leaking batteries ruining these lanterns.  Here is my rule for batteries, never store them in your devices for long periods of time.  I don’t care if the device is expensive or cheap, I don’t care of the batteries are generic or top brand, just don’t do it.

We keep flashlights (mostly D-Cell Maglites) around the house, we use them all the time.  Used devices never seem to have this problem.  When they start to weaken we replace them.

In our BOK we keep our devices and with them a ziplock bag with 4 sets of batteries per device in the bag.  We use our power failure lights and flashlights to retrieve our BOK and simply put the batteries in at that point and time.

Note that it is true that battery manufacturers are required by law to replace any device that leaking batteries destroy.  That doesn’t help in the middle of a black out though does it?  Simply put any device that is not used often, take the batteries out of it, store them with it and save yourself the headache.

Spiderwire Wolf Tackle Bag – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Spirderwire Wolf Tackle Bag.  This review includes the long promised video of my behind the truck seat go anywhere fishing kit.

The key about this bag is capacity and function.  There is just a ton of storage in it, again as you can see from the video below.  One of the great features in the line minders on both sides of the bag, this allows you to spool line onto your reel with zero twist and with just a bit of practice no spool over as well.

With this bag I am able to carry three full sized telescopic rods, a cast net, a minnow trap, various prepared baits, an aerator, tools, a full tackle assortment and more.

The quality of this bag is also amazing, all the stitching is super high quality and it is made of very tough 1680 denier material.  While quite large it is still small enough to fit in a truck tool box or say behind a truck seat.  The carry strap is nicely padded and well made making hiking into a spot really easy.  And by using the telescopic rods you are only carrying the bag with no rods to thread in between trees, bushes and snagging briars.

So check out the Spirderwire Wolf Tackle Bag I think you will find it to be the best currently available tackle bag on the market.

Remember you can always find the TSP Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop online you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. –  The best way to really show you what this bag has to offer so check out the video below.

Aurora Fire Starter and UST Titanium BASE Case – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is my personal EDC for fire starting that I keep on my key chain.  It is a combination of the Aurora Fire Starter by Solo Scientific and the Ultimate Survival Technologies Aluminum 0.5 BASE Case.

In the photo above you can see these items on my personal key chain.  I just checked my Amazon order history and are you ready for this, I got these items and put them on my key chain on August 5th, 2012.  So yea they hold up!

First on the firestarter, I have always preferred ferrocerium rods to about any other option.  These are commonly called ferro rods probably because ferrocerium is hard to say and harder to spell.   These things just work, even wet they throw hot sparks that will light any good tinder and get you a flame.

I chose the Aurora Fire Starter by Solo Scientific because it has a screw on cover with a built in striker.  When closed on the chain it make a reasonable impact weapon as well, functioning like a small kubaton.

But you need tinder and that is were the Ultimate Survival Technologies Aluminum 0.5 BASE Case comes in.  I simply have mine stuffed with cotton balls with a dab of vaseline on the top of them.  To make a fire I fray some cotton and then put some vaseline on some as well, this gets a good fire going almost anywhere you can find decent fuel wood.

Perhaps you already have a EDC fire making solution, but unless you have one that involves a ferro rod I recommend adding one.  To me they are by far the best best for reliable fire starting in just about any situation.  The fact that I have been carrying these items for almost 5 years now says something about their durability and reliability.

Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rod – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rod specifically the 5’6″ two piece model but the entire line is fantastic.  The line comes in weights from ultra light to medium heave and lengths from 4′ 6″ to 7′ 6″.  I have and will always be a light gear kind of guy.  My idea of fun is a 20 pound snook in the surf on 12 pound line and a light action rod to give you and idea of what I mean.

I was also at one time big into the all graphite super sensitive type rods until I broke one to many tips off them.  Years ago I switched to Ugly Stik as my go to rods and have been really happy with them, and I find them plenty sensitive for their weight class as well.

So recently I decided to add a new rod to the mix and wanted something light action and not too long for fishing creeks and over grown banks, etc.  So I settled on the  Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rod in 5’6″ two piece and I am very pleased with it.

I paired this rod up with an Okuma Avenger ABF-30.  The Okuma reel comes with a metal and nylon spool.  So I rigged up the metal spool that I use daily with Spiderwire Ultracast Monofilament in 8lb line.  This is a great set up for everything from sunfish to mid sized catfish.  I rigged up the nylon spool with the same brand Spiderwire Ultracast Monofilament but in 12lb line for getting into larger catfish or rough fishing.

I previously reviewed the Okuma Avenger in the 65 size for surf fishing.  Since that review I have purchased both an ABF-20 and an ABF-30.  I am so impressed with Okuma reels I have pretty much switched over to them 100%.  The bait feeder feature is just great and the quality and smoothness of the reels is like something that cost three times as much.

The 5′ 6″ light action rod linked to in this review would pair fine with either of them.  What the 30 allows is more and larger line to get the most out of this rod.  Because for a rod of its size and weight it is damn solid even with larger fish.

I paired my ABF-20 with a Zhijin Telescopic rod that I keep in my behind the truck seat kit and it is a perfect fit for that as well.

In any event the Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rods deliver exceptional performance for the price and if you ever break one you did something wrong, really wrong.  They are marketed as the toughest rods on the market and in this case after years of using them I can say, it isn’t just marketing, it is a fact.

Remember you can always find the TSP Amazon Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop on Amazon you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. – In all my years I have only seen one Ugly Stik break.  It was on a beach on Sanibel Island and a guy hooked a very large bull shark with a Medium Heavy Ugly Stik running 100 pound braid.  The fish was so large his two buddies were holding him by his waste to keep him from being pulled in, the rod snapped in three pieces and the center piece bloodied his nose.  This fish was NEVER going to be landed with tackle of the size the man had, the line should have been cut, lesson learned!

Entsport Saltwater Fishing Pliers – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is Entsport Saltwater Fishing Pliers.  Now given that 95% of my fishing is in fresh water you may wonder why I selected a salt water set as my go to.  Well pliers are pliers to a degree if they are good ones anyway and have similar features.  Yet something designed to hold up to salt water corrosion will do very well for the fresh water fisherman.  I.E. they don’t rust easily or corrode easily.

I have tried out several brands and these are the best I have found.  Like everything I review they are well reviewed and highly rated on Amazon, with 5 Stars total with 41 reviews and a FakeSpot.com Grade of an A.

Some of the features important to me on these include.

  • The cutters are tungsten, hence they hold an edge a long time and don’t end up making cutting braid or wire a pain in the ass only a few weeks into fishing season.
    ~
  • They have a sheath and a lanyard, bluntly I drop stuff and dropping stuff in 8 feet of water usually means it is gone.  I also sit stuff down and lose it, not going to happen with these guys.
    ~
  • The jaws are stainless steel and that means they won’t rust if you provide just minimal maintenance.  The body is aluminum again big time resistance to corrosion and no rusting.
    ~
  • They perform many functions, for instance see that little tooth at the tip of the jaw, that allows you to open split rings for rigging up different things.
    ~
  • They are spring open designed, in other words when you pull them out they open with a tension spring, this makes doing things one handed a LOT easier.

In the end they are the best set of fishing pliers for the money and I think with just a bit of care they should last many many years.  So check out the Entsport Saltwater Fishing Pliers and give you fishing kit an upgrade in 2017.

CamelBack M.U.L.E. – Amazon Item of the Day

muelEvery day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the CamelBack M.U.L.E.  What exactly does M.U.L.E. stand for, well that would be “Medium to Ultra Long Endeavors”.  This is my go to pack and it has only gotten better over the years, I bought mine over 7 years ago, I am still using it, it is still in great condition.

In fact the video below is from a short hike we did in Arkansas over 6 years ago.  I mean this is SO LONG AGO, I Have an iPod in the electronics pouch vs. an iPhone!  I mean really I have been though 3 iPhones in those 6 years and I still have the same pack.

I will say this pack doesn’t have massive cargo capacity but is is plenty for EDC and basic trail emergency gear on short hikes.  It excels for mountain biking because it is not over sized.  My number one use is wearing it while working on the farm in our 100 plus degree heat, so I stay hydrated and do not pass out.

If you want a larger capacity for cargo check out the CamelBack H.A.W.G. – Which stands for “Holds A Lot of Water and Gear”.  It is basically an up-sized version of the M.U.L.E.  Unless I am taking a major hike or spending an over night or something like that I prefer the lighter and smaller format of the CamelBack M.U.L.E.

I personally feel that the CamelBack concept as a whole has saved many lives over the years and prevented likely 10 of thousands of cases of basic heat exhaustion and trips to the ER for heat stroke.  In my days in the military, especially in Panama and Honduras, the number one injury I witnessed was what is called a “heat casualty” and it always came down to insufficient hydration.

If you are in the market for a top quality hydration solution and want to be able to carry a nice amount of gear along with it, take a look at the CamelBack M.U.L.E. today.  It isn’t the cheapest item in the category but for a pack that has lasted 7 years and is still going strong, as often is the case you get what you pay for.   At 80 bucks with free shipping, this pack is worth every cent.  And hey that is less than I paid for mine, so many years ago.

When I first got this Dorothy liked the idea but thought is was “too expensive”, so she bought some cheapo hydration back pack, (the kind with no cargo space) from Academy for herself.  It failed, she bought another.  At that point I had, had enough and ordered her a M.U.L.E. and of course I paid extra to get it in red for her.  Where that second cheapo is I know not, likely in a land fill somewhere, but her red CamelBack is still in service.

Here is my video from 2009, this pack is slightly faded from the brutal southern sun but still going strong.

Muckster II – Low Climbing Shoe from Muck Boots – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Muckster II – Low Climbing Shoe from Muck Boots.  I am late to the party when it comes to Muck Boots, primarily because Cabelas used to sell my favorite low waterproof shoe on the planet.  My last pair of those lasted three years of almost daily farm use.  They were lifetime guaranteed so I jumped on their website to get a new pair only to find them discontinued.

I thought about getting some shoe goo and patching them up, I actually am going to do this so they are a back up.  But come on, 3 years, they just are not that comfortable any more.  I am sure Cabelas figured a life time would be using them for hunting trips, not daily chores for 3 strait years!

So I went off to find a new pair of low water proof boots.  My life with the ducks is one of mud, muck and standing water, all the time.  But not high water and it is hot as heck in Texas most of the year.  High rubber boots are neither needed or wanted and good quality low ones that are water proof and are a slip on slip off style are tough to come by.

First I tried the Bogs Urban Farmer, hell the name seemed to fit!  They were well built, very well.  But they came out of the box, went on my foot (barely) then went back in the box, with a return label.  They were stupidly narrow, I don’t know who the hell could wear these things.  Too bad because they are a great boot.  If you have a very narrow foot, they may be for you.  I would bet women could order the men’s version and it might be about right.

Next I ordered the Muckster II – Low Climbing Shoe and at first I was afraid they were also too tight fitting, not too small just too tight around the ankle but they went on and didn’t hurt to put them on.  Not super comfortable like my old boots were out of the box but good enough to try them out.

It took about a week to break them in and now they are very comfortable and are serving me quite well.  I have had them now for over a month and I am very pleased with them.  I will be honest, if Cabelas were to bring back my old favorites I would be back in them quickly, but there is what we want and what is, for a low boot that will keep your feet dry and be easy to slip off and on so you don’t track mud in the house, these are the best thing currently available.

One note, as I said they did feel a bit tight on arrival.  My feet and ankles are a bit wider than normal but not massively so.  If you usually need to order shoes that are specifically wider than typical these may not be for you.  The good news though?  If they don’t fit returning shoes to Amazon is as easy as printing a label, taping the box back up, slapping the label on the box and dropping it off at a shipping location.

So if you are in the market for a low water proof shoe/boot, give the Muckster II – Low Climbing Shoe a try, it might be right what you are looking for.

Remember you can always find the TSP Amazon Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop on Amazon you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. – The links above are for the men’s version of this shoe, you can find the ladies version at this link.  They have some snazzy color combos but no camo, I guess Muck Boots is not in touch with the fact that some of you ladies are damn fine huntresses.

Eagle Claw O’Shaughnessy Fishing Hook Assortment – Item of the Day

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is Eagle Claw O’Shaughnessy Fishing Hook Assortment.  In general I don’t recommend buying fish hooks on Amazon because many of them cost less just buying local retail, but this one is a great deal, a really great deal.

Lets start with the pattern of hook here though, what exactly is an O’Shaughnessy hook  pattern.  Well they are a go to very traditional hook, especially for larger fish using cut or live bait.  They are thick for their size as well, so they are very strong.  Additionally they a large eye in them, making them suited to heavier line, split rings or snap swivels.

And that brings me to how I use them most often.  While I do like them for fishing with live bait in salt water my main use is for catfish in fresh water.  Specifically I use them for limb lines, jug lines and trot lines.

I use these hooks for these purposes for some of the reasons above, tough, they work and the large eye lets me easily put a split ring and snap swivel on them.  I always use a swivel with limb, jug and trot lines, catfish roll when hooked and jack up everything if you don’t.

Another key though is back to how thick they are, and that they are made with nickle steel.  One year I switched to khale hooks, I did seem to get more hookups but by mid season my hooks were all rusted to shit and needed to be replaced.  I generally get two seasons at least out of these guys.

This pack is also an excellent value, you get 100 hooks ranging in size from #1 to #6/0 for about 8 bucks including shipping. So consider picking up a pack or two of the Eagle Claw O’Shaughnessy Fishing Hook Assortment today, especially if limb lining, trot lining or jug fishing is in your plans this year.

Remember you can always find all TSPAZ Items of the day by just going to TspAz.com along with a link to Amazon’s top deals of the day.

P.S. – As always check local laws for fishing methods in your state.  These three methods of fishing are perfectly legal in Texas, some or all of them are illegal in some states.  Also just because they are legal doesn’t mean they don’t come with restrictions like total lines, gear tag requirements, time check requirements, etc.  Make sure to know all your laws, if you get in trouble with your local Rabbit Sheriff, it isn’t my fault.  Rabbit Sheriff?  Yea that is what we call the game warden in Texas, it isn’t an insult by the way.  Just a local colloquialism.

P.S.S. – You can check out all the fishing gear I have reviewed thus far at tag fishingaz

Promar Minnow, Crawfish & Bait Trap

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Promar Minnow, Crawfish & Bait Trap.  I have been putting together what I think is the ultimate compact go anywhere behind the truck seat fishing kit this year and this is my latest addition.

As before when I covered my favorite compact cast net, please check what is an isn’t legal in your area.  This all boils down to one thing for me, and that is bait.  Buying bait is expensive but with the laws in Texas with one of these and a cast net I seldom have to buy bait.

This trap has some features I was really looking for.  First is it is very well built with high quality netting.  Many such collapsible traps are made with very weak netting that seldom lasts even half a season.

I also wanted a “bait pocket” so that bait would be contained and easy to remove when done using to prevent stink.  This trap has a zippered integrated bait pocket that is perfectly designed.  I also wanted a large zippered opening to allow easy removal of bait, as you can see in the video this one has that covered.

As a collapsible trap I wanted it to fit when collapsed into my kit bag and more over to stay fricken closed.  This trap has stout clips that allow it do to do just that.

So if you want a go anywhere high quality portable bait trap check out the Promar Minnow, Crawfish & Bait Trap today and see the video below for a more in depth review of this products features.

Remember you can always find the TSP Amazon Item of the day by just going to TspAz.com and by shopping at TspAz.com anytime you shop on Amazon you help support TSP and the work we do here no matter what you buy.

P.S. – Again PLEASE check what your local laws are and if you are in doubt in any way please call your local fish and game office, they will be happy to clear up any confusion.
