I am finally back in the mobile studio today with a round of listener questions.  Today I answer questions about gardening, permaculture, guns, ammo, cooking, military,food storage and more ways to live the modern survival lifestyle. This is my first day back in the car so there may be a stumble or two but I think I did a good show for you today.

In 1991-1992 at the age of 19 I took part in something called “Operation Furetes Caminos” as part of a detachment to the 536th Combat Engineers.  From Dec 91 – June of 92 we worked to carve 10 miles of road into the Honduran interior in one of the harshest environments in the world.  While there I learned a lot about life, survival and I learned how that which seems desolate and harsh can show you some of the most beautiful things the world has to offer.

Join me today on another time travel event back to 1992 as we recall together what the real power of man is all about.  I will tell you lessons I learned and acted on at 19 that I could not articulate or even understand until more then a decade later. Today’ show notes are brief, just tune in the story speaks for itself.

Today’s show is a bit of a change up with some feed back responses to emails, blog comments and forum posts from our listeners.

Since we haven’t really looked around at current events much lately I figured we should pull back a bit and assess some of the current threats and indicators.

The notes for this show will be very brief as it is simply a show dedicated to our Veterans with a background on why we celebrate Veteran’s Day on November, 11th.  They guns fell silent on the “11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918″.  Yes it sounds cool but setting it up that way cost thousands of additional lives on World War 1!  Just one example of the sacrifices soliders make for the vanity of those in government.
