You hear it all the time, I want to break free from “The System” or I have to work within “The System” but I am here to tell you “The System” is a myth because there are a multitude of Systems of dependence and each is highly interdependent upon each other.  You can in principle call these collectively the system but when you do you are missing so many critical elements, vulnerabilities and connections that to do so is pure folly.

Join me today as we discuss the following systems and their interdependence…

  • The financial system
  • The debt system
  • The transportation system
  • The distribution systems
  • The energy system
  • The social order system
  • The technological systems
  • The non military bureaucracy system
  • The military industrial complex
  • The system of “societal trust”
  • And finally the lesson of learning math with out a calculator and to first shoot with iron sites.

Today we discuss the concept of peak oil and what it means in the coming two decades.  Is the oil going to run out?  Will capacity exceed demand, will it create more wars?  Regardless of environmental wackos, global warming hoaxes and carbon credits what does it all actually mean for the individual and what should you be doing about it.

Today we also do a brief update on the Swine Flu (now called the North American Flu), a bit about the truth vs. the myths of what went wrong in 1976 with a different variant of the Swine Flu and an update from a Doctor at Parkland Hospital on the severity or lack there of, of swine flu.

This is a question I get quite often when I discuss my show with people be they individuals or the media.  Generally they are expecting some sort of answer about the end of the world coming or something like that.  Of course TEOTWAWKI threats are out there, they exist but they are not my main motivation.  I also don’t think they are the main reason most people choose prepping as a lifestyle.
