This Christmas The Survival Podcast, our listeners and SOE Tactical Gear have adopted
Bravo Company 1st of the 26 Infantry (or as they call themselves “The Viper Company” )in the Korengal Outpost of Afghanistan with a new program called Stockings for Soldiers. Please help us give these guys a GREAT CHRISTMAS as they surely deserve it. Here is how it works.
- Step One - Pick up a Tactical Christmas Stocking from John Willis at SOE Tactical Gear available here,
http://www.tacticalresponsegear.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=202
- Step Two - Stuff it full of goodies for our Sponsored Platoon and send it to our contact there, his info is,
1LT John P. Rodriguez
B Co., 1-26 IN, 3/1 IBCT
Korengal Outpost
APO, AE 09354
Important - The best method to ship anything to soldiers serving there is the USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. The 12×12x4 box ships for $12.95 (same as in US) and the only extra requirement is that you have to fill out a Customs Declaration.
- Step Three - Know that those soldiers will know that they have not been forgotten.
Please feel free to include letters and other forms of communications as well. A list of suggested items will be comming soon.
B Company, 1-26 Infantry, 3 IBCT, 1st Infantry Div. faces real battles daily. They have only been in Afghanistan since July and have already had 6 KIA. If any group needs to know you care it is this group. So please, let them know. One full stocking of stuff is not much to offer but I can tell you it will mean more then you can possibly imagine!
