For Those That Got In On The Lifetime Sale – Some Quick Notes
One – As stated in the post yesterday setting up lifetimes is a manual process. It will take me a day or two to get them all done. No big deal. If you are a new member you will get an email with log in info when I set up your account. If you are an existing member, your existing account will be converted over. You don’t need to do anything.
Two – On the confirmation of payment email you guys got, it likely says you paid in bitcoin, this is because I cloned a form and missed that line of code. It doesn’t effect anything about your account, you are good to go, just ignore it.
Three – I knew this would go fast, really fast but not this fricken fast. I heard from people that where hitting F5 at 8:59 and still missed out. I might sell 10 more, have not decided yet. If I do to be fair I will go in order of the forms that got filled out after the sale was over. You don’t need to do anything if this is you, I will simply email people in order and give them a day to pay or not.
Four – Those that missed out, no you can’t pay me 400 bucks to get in, no I am not going to open it back up, I am sorry. Integrity is of key importance to me, I treat everyone equal and do the best I can to serve all of you. Lifetime sales are good because they give us some fast cash flow, they also reduce our on going revenue so we are very careful with them. In this case they are being used to handle the massive cash outlay that is require for our training events. Though we come out ahead on those, we have to pay almost 100% of the expenses up front.
Thanks for all the wonderful emails and thanks for those that missed this chance for understanding and thank you to everyone that supports TSP and the work we do.
When I started reading this post. The first line that struck me was “setting up lifetimes is a manuel process.” I thought it was about permaculture.
Yeah you do lose future membership dues from lifetimers but you’re always gaining new listeners which turns into possible new members. The cycle of a successful podcaster goes on.
