Episode-1204- An Earthworks Course with Nick and Nick — 11 Comments

  1. Uh oh. Looks like there might be yet another trip to Texas is in my future. I might have to convince the wife to move.

  2. We hope to see you at the Earthworks Course! It’s going to be a lot of fun teaching geosurgery and all the cool principles of water harvest. If you’ve been to Jack’s woody beds workshop then you know how fun these things are 🙂

  3. Did you decide not to do the this podcast’s year in history any more? I for one, enjoyed it and found it quite interesting.

    • It wasn’t intentional, I even have the link in the notes. I guess I spaced, yesterday was a busy day. It was king of a boring year Ill include a fact from it today to make up for missing it.

  4. I have a question about creating a swail on my 1 acre property. There is a natural water flow through my property after very heavy rain; I could create a swail or small pond to capture some of this, but the water flow is mostly from the drainage ditches from the streets. Would capturing that water be harmful because of contaminates in the water?

  5. Finally caught up on the latest TSP stuff.
I’d love to go, but man if I’m not completely unable to justify another permaculture course this year (in time or money). Gotta start saving for my own big project come late winter/ early spring!

  6. This sounds like a great opportunity! I would love to hear more about Nick Ferguson and Nick Burtner on future podcasts!

If only I could find the money to make it down there I would do it in a heart beat.
