2 Inch Return Lines Added to the Aquatic System — 9 Comments

  1. Just watched Eddie Garcia Natural Aquaponics. Was your lack of being able to dig a pond only reason for not doing his system? Maybe because the stacking of quail? Really curious because I’m looking at starting new system this spring and see advantages to both approaches and I currently have quail. One other thing I believe you mentioned doing paddock type system for quail will you be giving us updates on that in the future? Thanks for all your works of inspiration.

    • I don’t know who Eddie Garcia is and what ever he does has nothing to do with what I am doing or why I am doing it.

  2. How are you going to control the build up of sediment in the galvanized fish tanks? By not having a suction pulling from the bottom of the tank it won’t take long before nasty fish waste will build up.

  3. These videos have inspired me to take my daughter fishing. I haven’t fished since I was a kid living in Minnesota. We went last weekend to a creek by our apartment and were catching smaller sunfish and what I think we’re large mouth bass. What size of sunfish would you keep to eat? I returned them all to the water as I figured they were too small. Thanks

    • I usually need a brim to be at least 7 inches to be worth cooking and if they are that small I scale, dehead and gut and pan fry. I won’t bother filleting a brim until say 8-9 inches which is pretty big due to their body shape.
