Death in a Lonely Land – By Peter Capstick – Item of the Day — 1 Comment

  1. Jack, I received “Death in the Long Grass” as a birthday gift the year it was published. (1978). I was 16, and spent the next year trying to figure out how to get my young self and new driver’s license over to Africa. By the time I had enough money, and life experiences to bust the move, Civil War, and politics had ruined Africa for the most part. (It most certainly placed it out of the economic reach of most of us that would have made the most of it.)

I followed up with the Author’s “Death in” series as the years passed. For some reason, this one eluded me. But, no longer.\(Thanks Kindle)
