We have been looking to bring in some reasonably priced and highly functional items into the TSP Gear Shop and these are two great examples.  First check out our new dog tag style bottle openers that make a great addition to any key ring.

These are stainless steel (NOT aluminum, like most dog tag bottle openers) middle slot dog tag bottle openers. They come with a nickle-plated stainless steel keyring to attach them to your keys, or you can hang them from your own ball-chain necklace.

We have also added some really awesome and well made lanyards to the gear shops as well.   These are 29″ in TSP blue-white-black paracord and are just the thing for holding badges, sturdy usb drives, dog tag bottle openers, mini survival kits, neck knives, or anything else you want fixed around your neck where you’ll have easy access to it just when you need it.

These lanyards are made by a TSP Forum member and are some of nicest quality that we have ever seen.  These come with a heavy metal clip, metal caps at the end of the paracord, a matching metal keyring attached to the clip, and a heavy plastic sliding adjuster to make your lanyard as long or as short as you want. I am pleased to announce another great discount for the Member’s Brigade.  I have worked a deal with Safe & Ready Life for a full 10% off most items on their website.   The goal of Safe & Ready Life is to be the premier online and in-store provider of home and family safety and emergency supplies and services in the United States.

Some Additional MSB House Keeping

1.  BulkAmmo.com has had a hard time keeping ammo cans in stock.  So they now are doing 10 dollars off of every order over 200 dollars.  That means you can always use your BulkAmmo.com benefit with all orders.  They had also set a one time per customer limit on the ammo can benefit, that will NOT apply to this new benefit you can always get 10 dollars off every order you place over 200 dollars with them.

2.  ShelfReliance.com is no longer providing a discount to the MSB.  They still support the show and are a valued sponsor.  The issue is not about us but an internal one where they have decided to no longer do any form of coupon code, they are currently trying to figure out another way to again support the MSB.

Those who want a discount on long term storage food should consider some of the other MSB benefits that do that like free silver on three cases of Alpine Aire from Ready Made Resources, SafeCastle’s free buyers club membership to all MSB Member’s (valued at 29 dollars) and The Ready Store’s discount of 5% on all orders.

3.  I have added some new PDFs to the download section of the MSB.  These items are free to anyone but I have placed them in the MSB for a convenience factor.  Check the bottom of your download page in the MSB to see these new items.

4.  A lot of people have asked about how to pay in silver for MSB membership, just visit the MSB sign up page and at the bottom there is a link for a form to pay with silver by mail.  If you’re existing account is paid for online with PayPal and you choose to switch to paying by make please let us know so we know to cancel your PayPal subscription for you when you switch over.

Last night sometime about 12 PM something went wacky with the theme that we have been running the site with.  I am not sure what occured but the site would not load, we had not performed any maintenance on the site the theme (which controls the look and feel of a site based on wordpress like our site) just seemed to eat itself.

As a short term fix I have reverted to the old theme so that is why the site looks different for the time being.  The center column is blank due to this and I will back fill it later today but for now you can access all the shows, the forum, etc.

No further notifications to me are necessary about “something being wrong with the site”, I appreciate folks letting me know but I am now clearly aware of the issues and we are working on them.

The Ready Store Provides 5% Off For all MSB Members

I was recently approached by a The Ready Store for advertising and while I would love to have them my advertising remains sold out with a waiting list in the double digits.  So of course I hit them up for a discount for the MSB as a counter offer.

Well once they understood the program they were happy to participate in the program and ponied up 5% discount on all orders.  The Ready store is an absolutely awesome provider with a huge selection.   They have a massive collection of long term storage food supplies as well and of course if you are in the MSB you can get 5% off anything in their store.

You will find the discount code on the benefits page in your MSB account.  If you have been on the fence about joining the Members Brigade this is yet another great reason to consider it.  I am in talks with several other companies right now about becoming MSB supporters.

So even when I am away on a mini vacation I am still racking up the discount for MSB members.
